Terms and Conditions
TO ORDER: A 50% deposit initiates an order and a confirmation invoice will be sent in return. Balance invoices for standard orders are sent approximately 4-6 weeks prior to order completion, and final payment is due within 30 days of receipt of this invoice.
Production lead times can vary from 6-18 weeks or more, please call to check current lead times.
Please indicate installation date, if known, on purchase order. We will make every effort to meet it.
Estimated production times are exactly that - ESTIMATES. We DO NOT guarantee shipping times.
All sales are final. No returns, exchanges or refunds are offered.
After 30 days, a $100/month storage fee per ordered item will be charged for completed merchandise.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Finish Samples:
Standard finishes: $50/sample – refundable upon return
Custom finishes: $50/sample – non-refundable
Finishes are hand-applied and will vary slightly from finishes seen on all samples, in our catalog, on our web site or from finish samples. We do not guarantee an exact finish match of any completed product to a finish sample, floor sample, tear sheet, or web site image, because color, materials, and/or finish coat may be affected by age, light, heat, casting process and/or grain variation.
PACKING, CRATING & SHIPPING CHARGES are based on total net price of order:
Up to $4,999: 11% of net
$5,000 to $9,999: 10% of net
$10,000 and up: 9% of net
Merchandise must be unboxed or uncrated and inspected at the time of delivery.
Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. L+U is not responsible for shipping damages.
L+U guarantees its handmade merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects when it leaves our hands and will consider any legitimate claims made within 6 months of shipping. L+U is NOT responsible for durability issues due to misuse or natural wear and tear.
