Care of Items
Wood: Checking may occur in solid wood over time as a result of its natural aging process. This is not a flaw, but rather part of the idiosyncrasy ofsolid wood. Extremes in heat and humidity should be avoided. Never clean with chemicals or abrasives, only dust with a clean dry cotton cloth.
Bronze: Bronze will naturally patina over time. To restore the original polished finish use a metal polish, such as Nevr-Dull.
Shell: Clean with water only on a slightly damp soft cotton cloth..
Shagreen: Clean with a dry, soft cloth. Always use coasters and do not allow water or oil to sit on the surface.
Steel: Wipe with a clean soft chamois cloth. Slightly dampened with water if necessary. Never use chemicals or abrasives.
Lighting: Do not exceed the suggested bulb wattages.
